Learn from the best!

Youth Baseball Programs

Our youth baseball programs are designed for young athletes ages 6-14 who wish to develop their game and learn the skills needed to progress in the sport.  We utilize our proven process of developing foundational skills that will be the foundation for future development as a baseball player.

If you have a younger baseball player in the Denver metro area that you want to see improve their skills, our coaching staff is ready to help.

Our off-season training programs are now available for registration. Success in the regular season begins with the hard work that our players put in during the offseason. We have a variety of training programs available for our athletes this offseason. Please read carefully below to find the program that is the right fit for your player. Please note that these programs are extra-cost training.

Pitching Classes

  • Advanced Pitch Development and Arm Care - 13U - 14U

    • A popular class every offseason, this program is designed for participants who have a good basis for mechanical fundamentals on the mound. The focus of this program is to build on already established mechanics through the strengthening of the major muscles associated with throwing a baseball. Coaches will also focus on secondary pitch development.

    • The primary focus of this program is on pitchers, but arm strength transfers to any position on the field and we can adapt any pitching drills we do for any position a kid plays. Please note, that this is not a pitching mechanics class (if you are looking for extensive mechanical work, please ask about private instruction).

    • Player level: 13U and above

    • Recommended as a 2-class per week program

  • Advanced Pitch Development and Arm Care - 10U - 12U

    • This program is designed for players who have a good grasp on the Elite pitching mechanics and are looking to develop or improve their secondary pitches. The program will focus on teaching the correct mechanics through drills, helping to increase the ability to throw strikes and compete every time they step on the mound. The focus is on throwing fastballs and developing secondary pitches with the correct grip and arm action.

    • Participants for this class should have previous experience on an Elite team or in an Elite pitching class. If your player does not meet that criteria they should look at the pitching 101 class.

    • Player level: 10U Majors - 12U

    • Recommended as 1-class per week program

  • Pitching 101

    • This program is built for kids that are new to pitching, new to playing for Elite or want to refine their mechanics. The program will focus on teaching the correct mechanics through drills, helping to increase the ability to throw strikes and most importantly compete every time they step on the mound.  The focus is on throwing fastballs and being able to build a repeatable delivery.

    • Player level: 8U - 10U AAA

    • 1-class per week program

Hitting Classes

We have three options for hitting programs, allowing us to tailor each class to fit the skill level of the players enrolled. Please note we will move your player if we don’t feel they are registered for the appropriate class level.

  • Advanced Hitting - 9U - 11U and 12U - 14U

    • This program is designed to develop hitting skills and the muscles associated with hitting. The focus is on increasing a player's strength as well as addressing any mechanical inefficiencies in order to improve bat speed and exit velocity. This program is designed for players who have been with Elite and are comfortable with the way we teach our hitting mechanics and need limited guidance on base-level Elite hitting mechanics. The program will focus on bat speed and exit velocity development, and refining the hitting approach.

    • Player Level - 9U - 14U

  • Hitting Fundamentals

    • The program will introduce the Elite hitting methodology to those who are new to it and work with those who are familiar with it but need some help in mastery. If you are a new player to Elite or play for another organization this is the right class for you.

    • Ages - 8U and older

Fielding Classes

Our fielding program will have two options, Fielding 101 and Advanced Fielding. Players attending the advanced fielding class will need to be approved by Chris Taylor or Danny Vais.

  • Fielding 101

    • This class will provide instruction on the Elite fielding fundamentals in footwork, hands, approach, and position-specific skills. If you are new to Elite, this is your starting point.

  • Advanced Fielding

    • This class will introduce advanced fielding concepts, such as how to approach and master multiple groundball types, advanced double-play fundamentals, and other position-specific skills. The advanced fielding class is largely focused on the middle infield (shortstop/second base) and third base play and is intended for our advanced fielders.  It is recommended that players attend all of these classes if enrolling

Catching Classes

Whether you are an established catcher looking to keep your game sharp or new to the position, this program will help to sharpen your skills behind the plate. This program will combine drill work in the proper setup, receiving, throwing, and blocking with a focus on developing catcher-specific speed/strength/agility. Please note, that catchers must have their own catcher’s gear. We do recommend that players registering for the catching classes plan to attend every week as classes build on themselves each week.

  • Intro to Catching

    • Player level: Players who are new to Elite catching philosophies

    • Player Age: 11U and younger

    • Focus: catching setup, receiving, and throwing

  • Advanced Catching

    • Player level: Players who have played for Elite for multiple years

    • Player Age: 12U and older or catchers with an advanced skill set

    • Focus: advanced catching concepts with an increased emphasis on blocking, receiving secondary pitches, and throwing.
