Following his High School career Danny attended Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas – which has a rich tradition of turning out exceptional baseball players.  Danny’s freshman year was full of accolades including Freshman of the Year, 1st Team All-Conference, 1st Team All-Region, and it was capped off with All-American honors.  At the conclusion of his freshman year Danny was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 17th round, but opted not to sign.  During his sophomore year at Seward he achieved another round of the same awards but also he was awarded with the Jayhawk West Conference MVP and a trip to the NJCAA World Series.  Danny signed a full athletic to Texas Tech University, but following the conclusion of his sophomore season he signed with the Minnesota Twins and began his pro career.

He has also developed the Elite High School program aimed and developing high school athletes through a combination of strength and skill work to prepare them for successful college careers. This program has already seen numerous players sign college letters of intent to further their baseball careers.  In January of 2015 Danny opened Elite Athletic Training & Consulting, representing the fulfillment of a vision to provide a world class training facility for front range athletes.

“I will be the first to tell you that making the Big Leagues is incredibly difficult.  I would describe myself as a scrapper during my professional career.  I took a blue collar approach to the game, and tried to outwork all the guys who had more talent than me by showing each day with unsurpassed passion and desire to work.  Our facility is a representation of my career and gives kids the tools to make themselves the best athlete they can be and teach them the concepts to help them develop a work ethic.  I believe the best thing I learned from baseball was a relentless, never give in work ethic that I hope to teach others.”
